Medtronic’s Mazor X robotic surgical assistant is a robotic device that uses real time feedback to guide surgeons during surgery giving them a level of precision, accuracy and repeatability during surgery that would not be possible unaided. When the Ridgeway Hospital in Swindon, made the decision to make a significant investment in a Mazor X system, it took their spinal service to the next level.

Led by consultant spinal surgeon Mr. Neil Orpen, the Ridgeway Hospital commissioned Twinhouse Media to produce a video showing patients what the benefits of the Mazor system is to them. With clinical input from the surgeon we provided scriptwriting and a full day of filming in a scrubbed clinical setting, working around CT scanning technology to bring this film to the hospital and their patients.
